Game Day Beads Necklaces & Bracelets

Mizzou Beads
Remember last fall when I made Game Day Beads for the Baylor/Tech game?

Sorry mom's eyes are closed :( , but
she's proudly wearing her Baylor Beads!

Shortly after the Thanksgiving weekend game, I put pictures of the necklaces on Etsy (and never told a soul)! Some stranger found my Etsy shop and bought THREE necklaces - woo-hoo! Then my store expired or something and I haven't done anything with it since. Since Kelly is doing a Linky on homemade goods this week, I thought I'd re-open my store and link-up!  WE'RE BACK IN BUSINESS!!

Pittsburgh Beads
Steelers Beads
OSU Beads
Game Day Beads are made from Kukui Nuts which are supposed to bring good luck - perfect for the next big game!  I can get the Nuts in almost any color so you can support the team of your choice.  I can paint the team logo on the beads or leave it off.  And, I am just now introducing Game Day Beads bracelets in addition to the necklaces!  And you can get your necklaces or bracelets with your team logo or without it!

I'm just now catching up on a ton of your entries... Good for you for the etsy shop, I hope you sell a zillion of those necklaces!!

I had to smile reading your entries about taking care of the boys. It's always nice for me to hear that yes, indeed, it is exhausting taking care of children (and I only have two of them) because it reminds me that it's not just me. Good for you for taking on the challenge. I hope you got a major thank you from your sister!! So sweet of you to do this.

SUSAN! This is amazing. Look at everyone lining up to place orders. How fun!

Oh, and having read Maggie's comment, I totally agree! It is nice to hear that it is a tough job. On the plus side, you did get some breaks from children to get away for the wedding or whatever, which parents often don't get. On the down side, I think the job is even harder when you come into it cold like you did...it takes several years to work up to caring full time for three boys in my book! (Not that you don't have plenty of experience, but you know what I mean!) I can remember babysitting my niece for a day when she was two ...and Joe was there to help...and it was EXHAUSTING because we had not had two years' of practice working up to it. : )
