Yesterday, when I was walking through the flea market I happened upon, I bought a red necklace for $4. Actually, it was 2 red necklaces for $2 each, but they were each just one strand and I thought they'd look cuter worn 2 together. So, today, I wore my new necklace. One of the strands already broke on my way home tonight! Then, when I got home, I realized that the necklaces had stained my neck red!! So much for a $4 necklace! I'm still going to try to fix the broken strand....I think I can handle having a red neck at the end of the day every now and then.

Susan-that is funny. I'm not sure flea market necklaces work for you! You bought one when I was visiting you and it broke too! Did you fix that one?
You are SO right. But that first necklace I bought was more pricey, I believe. That one was just REALLY old I think and the string it was on was just worn out and snapped. I did end up re-stringing the beads and wear that necklace often! In fact if you scroll down to my May 30th Memorial Day Weekend post, you'll see a pic of me wearing it there!
